Pet Insurance – Does Your Pet Need Health Insurance?
Back in the old days, you get a pet, you take care of it, and if your pet gets in an accident or gets sick, you do what you can, but at the end of the day, you just let it be, and hope for the best.
Things are different these days. With living standards going up and up, and insurance companies insuring just about everything there is, pet insurance has become quite popular.
Let’s face it, pets are a part of the modern family. And if movie stars are insuring their nose or hands or whatnot, we ought to feel okay about insuring our pets, right?
So, to answer the question – does your pet need health insurance, the answer is, if you consider them a part of the family and if you don’t mind spending anywhere between $15-$60+ a month (typical cost depending on the pet), then yes, you should get pet insurance. After all, it’s a tough situation to be in if your pet gets hit by a car and needs a little help at the vet in order to survive, and you do not have $3000 cash. You get the picture.
