Training your Chihuahua
I think that the reasons for this failure to adequately train small dogs are simple. Big dogs create bigger problems, and these problems are far more noticeable. That is why we hear about Rottweiler and other big dog attacks, rarely, I am pleased to say, do you hear of chihuahua attacks!..
A big dominant dog can pull its owner across the road and if it is you, who is involved, then you need to address this problem in some way. A chihuahua or dachshund, acting the same way, just doesn’t have the same impact on the owner.
