Do You Have a Digging Puppy?

Puppies are so cute, but they also love to dig in the dirt. More often than not, they dig where you don’t really want them to.

I posted an article that outlines some steps you can take to deter your digging puppy from digging in the wrong places.

If you’ve worked the ground to this delectable state, you need to install a fence of chicken wire around it, to a height of at least three feet. The chicken wire should be buried in the ground about a foot below the surface. Should your digging puppy attempt to dig under, the wire will make it less attractive as their paws and claws encounter this hindrance.

Some Say Cat Behavior Modification Can’t Be Done

Well, they’re wrong! I have a cat named Pepper who I trained. She comes when I call her and knows exactly what furniture she’s allowed on and what furniture is forbidden. For example, she is never allowed on countertops.

The key is to never give up and never accept disobedience. If it is important enough to you to be able to train your cat, he or she will eventually accept your authority. It is just a matter of time.
