Cat flea medicine used to be flea powder or a flea collar. A flea collar always worked well for me, even when a neighbor once brought fleas over to my home. He never treated his dog, and the poor thing was covered with fleas. The dog never came in my home, but the owner did to use the phone, and he brought them along. I know this because a few bit me.
