Everyone who has a dog wants to give them the best life they can possibly afford. A new puppy is always an adjustment for any family, but if you already have other pets, it takes even more care. Puppies are so cute, but they also love to dig in the dirt. More often than not, they dig where you don’t really want them to.

I posted an article that outlines some steps you can take to deter your digging puppy from digging in the wrong places.

If you’ve worked the ground to this delectable state, you need to install a fence of chicken wire around it, to a height of at least three feet. The chicken wire should be buried in the ground about a foot below the surface. Should your digging puppy attempt to dig under, the wire will make it less attractive as their paws and claws encounter this hindrance.
